On her album „Redefined“ Austrian singer-songwriter Saby Cheek traces a personal journey of becoming herself. Rather than relying on grand statements, the album finds meaning in the moments of change that leave us redefined. Across eleven autobiographical songs, „Redefined“ explores self-reflection, growth and transformation.

At its core, „Redefined“ is about human relationships. Some songs observe from a distance, others speak from within — honest, vulnerable and thoughtful. Ballads such as „Hold Me Tightly“ and „When I’m Not Around“ reveal the album’s intimate side, while tracks like „How Should I’ve Known“ and „Anymore“ bring a laid-back rock energy. In between, a rich spectrum unfolds — the story of a singer-songwriter growing into herself.

Saby Cheek is an Austrian singer-songwriter. Her music blends folk rock and melancholic songwriting into a sound that feels unmistakably her own: thoughtful, unfiltered, and emotionally direct.

At times soft and intimate, at others wild and full of force. Her alto voice is at the center — warm, dusky and strong. With years of experience and numerous collaborations behind her, she now focuses fully on her solo work.

What emerges is a body of work that doesn’t try to please — it invites. Her songs come quietly, stay long, and go deep. Lyrically, her music explores the push and pull of connection — intense closeness and aching distance, the urge to love, desire, vulnerability, and those dark corners where life becomes a quiet battlefield.
